Greetings everyone
A post of the most brief nature. I have just finished painting the bombard and now its time to head to Nottingham! (making their first ever appearance this weekend will be the heavy squad, hydra, bombard, The colonels dog and an aegis defence line with quad cannon.
Rather fittingly all the forgeworld purchases I made at Badab are now painted and will be returning to where they came from. I think it is time to make a few more forge world purchases... a thunderbolt for sure, but what else...
Finally internet in my home is up and running so there will be nothing stopping me inundating you all with photos of the my army (and Commissar Dave's!) when they take to field against the enemy.
I've yet to even write the army lists yet! I think it'll be a pen and paper job this evening.
Wish me luck!
Looking forward to seeing the new models in all their glory. Since I saw it I have always thought the Bombard is one of the best looking and most logical artillery vehicles (seriously why in age of lasers do IG have to load their own shells by hand, in lots of situations we don't do that now!). I have read that most use it as a counts as Colossus rather than its forgeworld rules, I quite like the ideas in the forgeworld rules so wondered what your going to use?
ReplyDeleteI'm pimping up an old unpainted basilisk at the minute so I will use this comment now to apologise for some of the blatant borrowing (its stealing!) of ideas from your Medusa which is my favourite model of yours.
Good luck to both you and Dave in the tournament! maybe one day in the far future when i finally get a good lot painted I'll go to one, but in the meantime it is always interesting to read how you get on.
Good luck and God's Speed!!
