Finished Praetorian Macharius Vanquisher

Hi everyone

Amongst all the excitement for the release of 6th edition I have managed to put brush to model and have finished my first super heavy the Macharius Vanquisher!

I won't write a great deal as I will let the pictures do the talking. The tank was painted using the same methods as the 15 or so smaller tanks in the army and I'm pretty damn please with how it has turned out!

Now it's time to get to work on the crew for this monster!

Cheers!

  1. Pleased you should be - it's a monster kit that you've more than done justice to, a superb paint job. I'd be proud for my ranks of Chaos Renegades to be blown to smithereens by this.

Two favourite parts are the freehand job of the lion (obviously) and the searchlights - they look perfectly realistic. Great stuff!

  7. Thanks guys, I loved every minute of painting this beast. It is sadly going to be the last model I paint for the next month as I'm off to Scotland without my miniatures for a month!
